200 Years of Color Quilts Exhibit Opening

Opening October 17, this traveling exhibit includes 23 quilts made by members of the American Quilt Study Group which have been inspired by a quilt of their own choosing made between 1800 and 2000 and of solid color fabrics. Many museums, historical societies, and individuals have given permission for some wonderful quilts in their collection to be used for inspiration.

The quilts on display measure no larger than 42 inches by 42 inches, and have information about the quilt maker’s name, name of their quilt, and a photograph of their inspiration quilt.

Join us for the exhibit opening Thursday, October 17, at 5:30 pm. The quilts will be on display through February 1, 2020.
