The Study of Civil War Quilts: 1850-1865 comes to the Stillwater History Museum this fall.  The traveling quilt show will be on display from November 1st through mid February. For each traveling show, the American Quilt Study Group picks a theme and quilt group members select a historic quilt for inspiration. Some quilters use the historic quilt as a template, while others use it to create an entirely new work. Inspiration can come from a family heirloom, a museum, or any other source.
